Terms and Conditions – Leeglin

Welcome to Leeglin (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using our platform, mobile application, or services (“Services”), you (“User,” “Client,” “Lawyer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue using Leeglin immediately.

1. Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts under Indian law.

  • By registering, you confirm that the details you provide are true, accurate, and complete.

2. Account Registration & Security

  • Users must create an account with valid details (name, email, contact number, etc.).

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported immediately.

3. Nature of Services

  • Leeglin is a platform connecting users with legal professionals for consultation.

  • Leeglin itself does not provide legal services. Lawyers registered on the platform are independent professionals.

  • We do not guarantee outcomes of consultations, as advice depends on the professional engaged.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Users agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully.

  • Users must not:

    • Misuse the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or misleading purposes.

    • Share offensive, abusive, or defamatory content.

    • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt platform operations.

5. Lawyer Responsibilities

  • Lawyers must provide services honestly, professionally, and within the scope of the law.

  • Any misconduct, negligence, or misrepresentation may result in suspension or termination of their account.

6. Booking & Consultation

  • Bookings must be made through the app only.

  • Users must join consultations at the scheduled time. Delay or absence will not entitle users to a refund.

  • Instant consultation (if offered) will be subject to lawyer availability.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Users cannot cancel bookings once confirmed.

  • Refunds are only possible in specific cases as outlined in the Refund Policy section.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the platform (logos, designs, texts, software) is owned by Leeglin.

  • Users cannot copy, distribute, or use any content without written permission.

9. Privacy & Data Usage

  • Leeglin collects and processes personal information in line with its Privacy Policy.

  • User data may be shared with lawyers for consultation purposes.

  • We will not sell or misuse your data, except as required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Leeglin acts only as a facilitator. We are not liable for:

    • Quality, accuracy, or legality of advice provided by lawyers.

    • Losses, damages, or disputes arising between users and lawyers.

  • Our maximum liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by the user for the disputed service.

11. Indemnity

  • Users agree to indemnify and hold Leeglin harmless against any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of their use of the platform.

12. Service Modifications

  • Leeglin reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service without prior notice.

13. Termination

  • Leeglin may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, misuse, or illegal activity.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

  • Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.

15. Amendments

  • Leeglin may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of updated Terms.
